How to Use Flint with Outreach and Sales Sequencing Tools

Flint doesn't have a native Outreach integration yet, but customers using Outreach, Apollo, Salesloft, and similar tools have found an effective pattern: use Flint's API to generate a personalized landing page for each prospect, then include that URL in their outreach sequence.

Overview

Flint doesn't have a native Outreach integration yet, but customers using Outreach, Apollo, Salesloft, and similar tools have found an effective pattern: use Flint's API to generate a personalized landing page for each prospect, then include that URL in their outreach sequence.

The most common approach is to use Clay as the middle layer. Clay enriches your prospect list, calls the Flint API to generate pages, and passes the page URL back into your sequence tool. The result: every email in your sequence links to a page that's personalized for that specific account.

How it works

  1. 1.Your prospect list lives in Clay (or a spreadsheet)
  2. 2.Clay enriches each row with company data, pain points, and relevant context
  3. 3.Clay calls the Flint API to generate a personalized landing page for each prospect
  4. 4.The page URL is returned to Clay and can be passed to your sequencing tool
  5. 5.Your outreach email includes a link to that prospect's personalized page

What you need

  • A Flint account with API access (sign up at flint.com)
  • A Clay account (or another enrichment tool that can make HTTP requests)
  • A sales sequencing tool (Outreach, Apollo, Salesloft, etc.)
  • An ABM page template already created in Flint

Step 1: Create your ABM template in Flint

Build a landing page template in Flint designed for outbound outreach. Include sections for company overview, the specific pain point you're addressing, relevant case studies or social proof, and a single clear CTA.

Once the template is ready, note the page slug (e.g. /abm/outbound-template). Then go to https://app.tryflint.com/app/team to grab your Site ID and API Key.

Step 2: Set up Clay to call the Flint API

The easiest way to connect Flint to your outreach workflow is through Clay. Follow the Clay + Flint guide for a full walkthrough. In summary:

  1. 1.Duplicate the pre-built Clay workbook
  2. 2.Add your Site ID, API Key, and template slug
  3. 3.Enrich your prospect rows with company data
  4. 4.Trigger the Flint API column to generate pages
  5. 5.Copy the returned page URL into your sequence tool

Step 3: Add the page URL to your outreach sequence

Once Clay generates the page URLs, you can pull them into your sequencing tool in a few ways:

  • Outreach: Export your Clay table with the page URL column, then import into Outreach as a prospect field. Use it as a variable in your email templates.
  • Apollo: Add the URL as a custom field on the contact record and reference it in your sequence templates.
  • Salesloft: Import prospects with the page URL as a custom field and use it in cadence steps.
  • Manual: Copy the URL from Clay directly into your email or LinkedIn message.

Include the link naturally: "I put together a quick page showing how [Company] could use Flint for [use case]: [URL]"

Tips for better results

  • Keep your template focused on one CTA. Prospects who click a personalized link are already engaged - don't distract them.
  • Use at least 3-4 enrichment signals from Clay for richer personalization (industry, funding stage, tech stack, recent news).
  • Test with a small batch of 10-20 prospects before scaling to your full list.
  • Track which page URLs get the most engagement and use those insights to improve your template.
