Troubleshooting

Blank page after publishing (no 404, just empty)

If your published page loads but shows no content:

  1. 1.Check page visibility — Open the editor and look at the left sidebar. If the page shows a "Hidden" badge, it won't display on your live site. Click the badge to remove it, then publish again. (See the /docs/publishing page for more details on page visibility.)
  2. 2.Check that you've published — Removing the "Hidden" badge doesn't automatically publish your site. Make sure to click Publish after toggling visibility.
  3. 3.Check your custom domain — If using a subdomain, verify DNS settings are correct and propagated.
  4. 4.Still blank? — Contact us via in-app chat and we'll take a look.

Error 404 or Page Not Found

If you encounter a 404 error on a published page:

  1. 1.Check if the page is marked as Hidden in the Pages menu
    • -Note: Hidden pages can be viewed via preview links but will not appear on your published site
  2. 2.To make the page visible, toggle off Hidden in the page settings, then publish your site
  3. 3.If the issue persists, reach out to support@tryflint.com with your site information

My Site Is Not Updating

If your site is not reflecting recent changes:

  1. 1.Verify that your website is published with current changes via the top bar menu
  2. 2.If the issue persists, contact support@tryflint.com

Editor stuck on Request in Progress

This usually happens when a previous AI prompt or page operation did not complete cleanly. If your editor shows request in progress for more than a few minutes and you cannot make changes, try these steps in order:

  1. 1.Hard refresh the page with Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows or Cmd+Shift+R on Mac.
  2. 2.Close all editor tabs, wait 30 seconds, then reopen a single tab.
  3. 3.Restart your sandbox: right-click the reload button in the top right of the page frame (next to the Publish button), then click Restart Sandbox. This typically takes about 45 seconds.
  4. 4.If none of the above work, contact support@tryflint.com and we'll help you troubleshoot further.
