SEO Settings for Campaign Pages

Preview and configure meta titles, descriptions, Open Graph images, and indexing settings for your Flint campaign pages.

Overview

Each page in Flint has its own SEO settings, including the title tag, meta description, social preview image, and indexing behavior. These settings are configured per page and can be updated at any time through the AI chat or Settings panel.

Accessing SEO Settings

To view and edit the SEO settings for a campaign page:

  1. 1.Open the page you want to configure in the Flint editor
  2. 2.Click the Settings button in the top left of the editor toolbar
  3. 3.Select the Page Settings tab
  4. 4.You will see fields for the page title, meta description, Open Graph image, and robots/indexing settings

Title Tag and Meta Description

The title tag and meta description control how your page appears in search engine results and link previews.

  • Title tag - Keep it under 60 characters. Include your primary keyword near the beginning. For campaign pages, include the campaign theme or target audience.
  • Meta description - Aim for 120-155 characters. Summarize the page's value proposition and include a call to action.

You can also ask Flint to write these for you:

Write an SEO title and meta description for this landing page targeting enterprise marketing teams.

Social Preview (Open Graph) Image

The Open Graph image is shown when your page is shared on social media, Slack, or in email.

  • Recommended size: 1200 x 630 pixels
  • Use an image that visually represents the campaign or offer on the page
  • You can upload a custom OG image in the Page Settings panel, or ask Flint to generate one:

Generate an Open Graph image for this page that highlights the main offer and matches the hero section design.

Robots and Indexing Settings

For campaign landing pages, you have full control over whether search engines should index the page.

  • Index - The page is included in search results (default for most pages)
  • Noindex - The page is excluded from search results (useful for paid landing pages where you do not want organic traffic)
  • Noindex, nofollow - Search engines will not index the page or follow any links on it

To change the indexing setting, open Page Settings and update the robots field.

Previewing SEO Output

To preview how your page will appear in search results:

  1. 1.Use a free tool like Opengraph.xyz or metatags.io to paste your page preview URL and see how it renders.
  2. 2.For published pages, you can also paste the URL directly into Slack or iMessage to preview the Open Graph card.
  3. 3.Google Search Console (once your site is indexed) will show your actual search snippet.

SEO Considerations for Paid Campaign Pages

For pages driving paid traffic (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta), consider:

  • Set robots to noindex if you want to prevent organic traffic from reaching a page designed specifically for paid audiences
  • Use descriptive slugs that match your campaign theme (e.g., /lp/enterprise-security rather than /lp/variant-b)
  • Keep page load speed fast - Flint pages are optimized for performance by default
