Status reference
- •Todo - Generated and waiting for you. You haven't started it yet. Open it to review the details and either start execution (Build Page in Flint or Plan Google Ads Change) or Reject it.
- •Implementing - Flint is actively working on it: building or publishing a page, or proposing and applying a Google Ads change. No action needed from you while it runs.
- •Needs review - Waiting on you. Flint has built a page or prepared a Google Ads change and needs your approval, so it's paused until you Approve and Publish, Confirm and Apply, or Reject. A run that failed also lands here so you can read the error and choose Try again.
- •Measuring - You approved and Flint shipped the change, and it's now comparing before-and-after performance to gauge impact. Results appear once there's enough signal. (Shown when impact measurement is available for your account.)
- •Done - Completed. The page is published and/or the Google Ads change is applied, and there's nothing left to do.
- •Rejected - You declined the recommendation. It stays in your inbox for reference and won't be acted on. Rejecting with feedback also helps Flint make better recommendations in future runs.
New vs. Stale
Recommendations that are still Todo also show a freshness label so the most relevant ones stand out:
- •New - from your most recent research run and generated within the last 7 days.
- •Stale - still untouched more than 7 days after it was generated. Stale recommendations may be based on older account data, so review them soon or reject them to keep your inbox focused.
Once you start or reject a recommendation, the New/Stale label goes away and the status takes over.
Filtering by status
Use the filter pills above the inbox to focus on what matters:
- •New - everything fresh from your latest run.
- •Needs Review - recommendations waiting on your approval. This pill pulses when it has items, so you can spot pending decisions at a glance.
- •More - a dropdown for the remaining statuses: Implementing, Measuring, Done, and Rejected.
By default the inbox shows all in-flight recommendations (everything except Done, Rejected, and Measuring). Selecting a filter narrows to that status; selecting it again clears the filter and returns to the full view. Each filter shows a count so you know how many recommendations are in each state.
How status changes over a recommendation's life
A typical recommendation moves Todo - Implementing - Needs review - Implementing - Done: you start it, Flint builds, you approve, Flint applies, and it completes. Along the way:
- •If you Reject at any point, it becomes Rejected.
- •If a run fails, it becomes Needs review so you can retry; if it's canceled, it returns to Todo so you can start again or refine the plan later.
- •After completion, recommendations with measurable impact pass through Measuring before settling on Done.
