FORBES, THEODORE "TED" Died Saturday, April 9, 1994, at 9:33 p.m. at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He was 53, a resident and native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Neely United Methodist Church, 9 a.m. until religious services at 11:30 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Arnold V. Brown. Interment in Lutheran Cemetery. Survived by mother, Florida G. Forbes; five sisters, Thelma F. Deane, Petersburg, Va., Shirley F. Davis, Marion F. Brown, Irma L. Forbes and Gertis F. Rowley, all of Baton Rouge; two brothers, Herman Forbes, San Antonio, Texas, and Alvin J. Forbes, Baton Rouge; three sisters-in-law, Margaret A. Forbes, Joan Forbes and Deserie Forbes; two brothers-in-law, Harold A. Deane Sr. and Floyd A. Davis; 27 nieces and nephews, 28 grandnieces and grandnephews, two great-grandnephews, a great-grandniece and many cousins. Preceded in death by father, Charlie Forbes Sr.; three brothers, Charles, Detroit and Isaiah Forbes; a sister, Juanita Forbes; maternal grandmother, Catherine Green; and three nephews. Gilbert Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
