Ruth G. Rowley

Ruth G. Rowley, 88, born August 27, 1913 in Everett, WA passed away December 28, 2001 in Gresham, OR. She graduated from Everett High School and Washington State University. Ruth retired from the Washington State Health Department after 30 years. During her retirement she volunteered for the Children's Medical Center. She spend a significant amount of time knitting hats for Native American children around the United States. Ruth is best known for her sense of humor and will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Lester W. Rowley. She is survived by her son John; daughter-in-law Dianne; grandchildren John D. Jr and his wife Sharon and their children John D. III and Kyle, Lisa Hegerberg and her husband Grant and their children Nathanel and Taylor; and Laura Rowley; and her nieces and nephews.

Funeral service 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 3, 2002 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4504 Broadway, Everett, WA. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
