Visitation for William Michael Rowley, 62, will be Wednesday from 5 p.m. until the vigil service planned for 7 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d'Alene. Service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas X Roman Catholic Church in Coeur d'Alene, with burial at Riverview Cemetery

Mr. Rowley, who was born in West Redding, Pa., died Wednesday.

He grew up in Shenandoah, Pa., and graduated from high school there in 1960. He served in the Navy until 1964.

Mr. Rowley then moved to San Bernardino, Calif., and worked for Sears and graduated from Valley College with a business degree.

He married Evelyn Anderson in 1973, and the family later moved to Coeur d'Alene in 1992

In Coeur d'Alene Mr. Rowley had worked for Montgomery Wards, Fred's Appliance and Sears.

He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and enjoyed playing Pinochle, bowling, pool and darts.

Survivors include his wife; five children, William Rowley of Coeur d'Alene, Kelly Rowley of Pocatello, Idaho Amy Adkinson of Post Falls, Jennifer Rowley of Coeur d'Alene and Rachel Wold of Highland, Calif.; and five grandchildren

William Michael Rowley Born in West Redding, Pennsylvania on Sep. 26, 1942 Departed on Nov. 10, 2004 and resided in Coeur d'Alene, ID.

William Michael Rowley was born September 26, 1942 to Tillie and Edward Rowley in West Redding, PA and died on November 10, 2004 at his home in Coeur d’Alene, ID.

He grew up in Shenandoah, PA and graduated from Shenandoah High School in 1960. After graduation he joined the Navy and was honorably discharged in 1964 in San Diego, CA. After leaving the Navy he moved to San Bernardino, CA and went to work for Sears. While working at Sears he attended and graduated from Valley College in San Bernardino, CA with a Business Degree. He then married Evelyn Anderson on Feb. 3, 1973 at the Ascentenia Mission in Redlands CA. He and his family then moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1992. While in Coeur d’Alene he worked at Montgomery Wards, Fred’s Appliance, and Sears. His hobbies included playing darts, pool, bowling and pinochle. He was also a member of the Eagles.

His parents preceded him in death. William is survived by his wife of 31 years and five children. His sons are William and wife Jamee of Coeur d’Alene, ID and Kelly and fiancée Kate of Pocatello, ID. His daughters include Amy Adkinson and husband Travis of Post Falls, ID, Jennifer Rowley of Coeur d’Alene, ID and Rachel Wold and husband Scott of Highland, CA. He had five grandchildren Madison Rowley, Samantha Wold, Colt Rowley, Zachary Adkinson, and Owen Rowley.

Dad, Bill or Billy was loved by many and will be missed dearly. He has made many dear friends over the years and, he will not be forgotten as he has touched many lives. His favorite saying was not to worry and he wouldn’t want anyone to be upset over him. He always wanted everyone to be happy and enjoy life.
