FINLEY, THOMAS GLYNN Died 3:30 p.m. Friday, May 25, 1990. He was 44, a native and resident of Baton Rouge. He was a former security guard at Ethyl Corporation, and a U.S. Army veteran. Visiting at Greater True Love Missionary Baptist Church, 7 until religious services at 8 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Otis Collins. Dismissal 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial in Southern Memorial Gardens. Survived by wife, Mrs. Carolyn W. Finley, Baton Rouge; mother-in-law, Lenora Davis, Baton Rouge; a daughter, Tonya Glynnette Finley, Baton Rouge; a son, Terrell G. Finley, Baton Rouge; a brother, Charlie Finley, Baton Rouge; two sisters-in-law, Beverly Montgomery, and Tina Finley, both of Baton Rouge; a brother-in-law, Louis Davis; three uncles, Harry Jones, Albert Rowley, and Joe Finley, all of Baton Rouge; two aunts, Mamie Rowley, and Lubertha Finley, both of Baton Rouge; three nieces, four nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents, the Rev. Edward Finley and Bessie R. Finley; and a sister, Melvert Smart. He was a member of the Greater True Love Missionary Baptist Church, and the East End Masonic Lodge No. 209, Prince Hall affiliated. Fraternal Funeral Home, Clinton, in charge of arrangements.
