DEATHS
MANSFIELD -- Margaret Flecknoe Ransom, 92, formerly of 1833
Middle-Bellville Road, died Tuesday, July 6, 2004, at MedCentral/Mansfield
Hospital after a long illness.
Margaret was born December 12, 1911, in Mount Vernon to the late Charles
and Susan Rowley Flecknoe.
She lived in Mansfield since 1949 where she worked at Dominion Electric
and later retired from Madison High School where she worked in the
kitchen.
She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church and the Episcopal Church
Women.
Surviving are two sons, Philip D. Ransom and his friend, Diana Haumesser
and Dennis C. Ransom and his wife, Margaret A. Ransom; grandchildren and
their spouses, Christine Parker of Bellville, Terri and Shawn DeWitt of
Willard, Mary and Geoff Gilbert of Mansfield, Trudy and Scott McKnight
of Fredericktown, Scott and Karen Ransom of Charlottesville, Virginia,
and Mark and Mandi Ransom of Delaware; 16 great-grandchildren; and seven
great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Ronald E. Ransom, and seven sisters.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors
Thursday, July 8, from 6-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m.
Friday at Grace Episcopal Church, officiated by Rector Emeritus David S.
Sipes and Father Walter LaBatt. Interment will follow in Oak Grove
Cemetery, Gambier, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace
Episcopal Church.
