DEATHSMEEKER JR., LOUIS HOWARD Died 4:59 a.m. Sunday, May 28, 1995, at Medical Center of Baton Rouge. He was 82, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of New Orleans. He was a retired city-parish civil engineer. He retired from the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict. Visiting was held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 5 to 9 p.m. Monday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel, 8:30 a.m. until religious services at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Mike Moroney and the Rev. Carroll Marr. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by wife, Doris Boydston Meeker; a daughter, Karen M. Rowley, Pride; a brother, Bruns Meeker, Louisville, Ky.; four grandchildren, Kevin O'Neal, Darren O'Neal, Laurie O'Neal Jones and Dawn Matte; and a great-grandchild, Amanda Rowley. Preceded in death by parents, Louis Howard Sr. and Genevieve Bruns Meeker; and a daughter, Genevieve O'Neal. He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, LSU Alumni Association and Civil Engineering Society. |
