Funeral Services for Mrs. Jane Rowley Held

Mrs. Jane I. Rowley, 88, died Monday evening at a local hospital after an illness of six months. She had been in ill health for the past few years.

Surviving are three sons, Sam W., of Mitchell, Emerson of Fulton and Jairus E. of Artesian, and eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 pm Wednesday in the Methodist church with the Rev. H. C. Culver in charge. Burial was made in Graceland cemetery.

Miss Jane Gregory was born April 17, 1847 at Caton, N.Y. On Dec. 12, 1871 she was united in marriage to Frank L. Rowley at Goodland, Ind. The family came to Mitchell in 1892 and Mrs. Rowley has lived here continuosly with the exception of eight years spent in Marshall, Minn. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
