EMMA ROWLEYMrs. Emma Rowley, wife of John W. Rowley, of the town of Corning, died after several days illness of heart disease, Feb. 10 aged forty-seven years. She was a daughter of William Edmister, deceased, of Big Flats. She was an amiable and beloved lady and as a daughter, wife and mother she discharged her duty in those varied relations, so as to be greatly endeared to her relatives. As a neighbor and friend she won respect from all. She was one of nine children, all the others being now living. Mrs. Rowley leaves six children as follows: Nellie, Mary F., Emma, Alice, Grace and John. The funeral was largely attended on Sunday, the services being conducted by Rev. John S. Bacon, of Corning assisted by Rev. Mr. Jewell, of Big Flats. The burial was at Hope Cemetery, Corning. |
