DEATHSJONES, BEULAH TRIM Died 5:20 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 1995, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was 81, a native and resident of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Capital Funeral Home, 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Religious services at Greater Mount Gideon Baptist Church at 7 p.m. Sunday, conducted by the Rev. Edward Howard. Dismissal at 10 a.m. Monday. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. Survived by two daughters, Barbara G. Jones, Baton Rouge, and Patricia J. Thomas, Kingwood, Texas; two sons, Frank B. Ross, Baton Rouge, and Theodore R. Jones, Houston; five sisters, Devonah T. Poydras, Leona T. Scott, Josephine T. Eames, Elizabeth T. Campbell and Cecile T. Sanford, all of Baton Rouge; a son-in-law, Albert C. Thomas Sr., Kingwood; two daughters-in-law, Margaret K. Jones, Houston, and Judy C. Adams, Baton Rouge; two sisters-in-law, Viola McCreary and Ada Ross Holloway, both of Baton Rouge; two brothers-in-law, Manuel Campbell Sr., Baton Rouge, and Albert Lipps, Reserve; 11 grandchildren, Ivy Lynette Ross, Sherri LaShawn Jones, Warrie D. II, Summer D. and Marcus W. Rowley and David S. and Kayla Lendo, all of Baton Rouge, Albert C. Jr. and Brent J. Thomas, both of Kingwood, Kelvin and Ashley Jones, both of Houston; four great-grandchildren, Regina, Regdricka and Davivon Jones and Precious Bassett, all of Baton Rouge; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by husband, David S. Jones Sr.; parents, Sylvester and Earlean Bassett Trim; a son, David S. Jones Jr.; and two sisters, Genora T. Buffington and Eula T. Davis. Pallbearers will be Paul L. Poydras Jr., Theodore J. Poydras, Aldora H. Sanford, Marcus W. Rowley, Manuel Wayne Campbell and Albert C. Thomas Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Honorable W.T. Winfield, Manuel Campbell Sr., Leo A. Sanford, Willie N. Kyser Jr., Leroy Trim, Wickliff Bassett, Lemuel Bassett, Clive H. Adams, Murlon Webb, Eugene Fleming, Henry Farris, Dalton Joseph, William D. Fredrick and Carl E. Stewart; and members of Mayfair Park Improvement Association, deacons and trustees of Greater Mount Gideon and Nazarene Baptist churches and the community of Eden Park. |
