DEATHS
Alma L. Rowley
Alma L. Rowley, 66, of Pleasant Hill Manor, Piketon, went to be with her
Lord 9 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2005, in Adena Regional Medical Center
following an extended illness.
She was born December 28, 1938, in Kanawha Co., WV, to the late John E.
and Fannie Mae McCallister Whittington.
Surviving are children, William E. Jeffers and his fiance, Darlene
Allen, both of Waverly, Kenneth L. (Patricia) Farley, of Junction City,
OH, and Naomi E. "Beth" (Timothy) Adkins, of Paintsville, KY; 10
grandchildren; a brother, John H. (Dorothy) Whittington, of Southside,
WV; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by stepmother,
Martha J. Whittington; a son, Richard A. Jeffers; and three infant sons.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2005, in Ware Funeral
Home with Brother Sandy Parrish officiating. Burial will follow in
Huntington Township Cemetery. Friends may call at Ware's from 6 to 8
p.m. Thursday. |
