LOCAL DEATHSForest SeesWADSWORTH -- Forest N. Sees, 85, of Wadsworth, died Friday, Dec. 27, 2002, at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital.Memorial services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Gillman Funeral Home in Rittman, where Masonic services will be conducted by Wadsworth Lodge 385 at 12:45 p.m. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. He was born June 20, 1917, in Cairo, W.Va., to James and Blanche (DeLong) Sees. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II having served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater of Operations. He had made his home in Canton and Lehigh Acres, Fla., and retired from the U.S. Postal Service with 30 years service. He was a 32nd degree mason and a member of Trinity Masonic Lodge F&AM in Canton and the Scottish Rite Valley of Canton. Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Sees; daughters, Elouise (Don) Williams of Wadsworth and Phyllis (David) Rowley of Minneapolis, Minn.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a half-brother, Homer Sees of Canton; and half-sisters, Darla Adolff and Betty Sees, both of Canton. His stepmother, Loretta Sees, a brother, Kenneth Sees, a sister, Larrantine Murphy, two half-brothers and a half-sister died previously. |
