DEATHS VANDALIA — Deborah Lee Lawson, 50, of Vandalia died at 10:40 a.m. Sunday, July 25, 2004, at Fayette County Hospital in Vandalia. She was born on June 25, 1954, in Berkley, Calif., daughter of Dale Lee and Dena Lee (Cherry) Rowley. She married the Rev. Joseph "Joe" Raymond Lawson on Nov. 29, 1975, in Vandalia and he survives in Vandalia. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bethel Baptist Church in Vandalia with the Rev. Dan Rush officiating. Interment will follow at McInturff Cemetery in Hagarstown. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the church. Memorials may be made to Fayette County Health Department Hospice, Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund or Lottie Moon Missions and will be received at Hohlt & File Funeral Home in Vandalia, which is in charge of arrangements.
